The Role

As a Legal Engineer, you’ll sit between customers, product, engineering, and GTM to make sure Lexi is deeply grounded in how legal work actually happens. This role matters because Lexi is not just selling software to lawyers. We are building AI legal associates that need to understand legal workflows, earn lawyer trust, and deliver work that feels useful, accurate, and practical in real matters.

What you'll own

• ▸Understanding customer workflows and turning legal pain points into clear product and implementation priorities.
• ▸Running credible demos, onboarding sessions, and trainings that show lawyers how Lexi fits into their actual work.
• ▸Helping customers identify high-value use cases across drafting, review, research, intake, and matter workflows.
• ▸Translating customer feedback into product insights that engineers and product teams can act on.
• ▸Building legal workflow playbooks, best practices, and examples that make Lexi easier to adopt across teams.
• ▸Working closely with founders, GTM, product, and engineering to make Lexi more lawyer-friendly, reliable, and useful.

What we're looking for

• ▸You have a legal background or strong hands-on exposure to how lawyers and legal teams work.
• ▸You can communicate clearly and confidently with lawyers, customers, founders, product teams, and engineers.
• ▸You are comfortable translating messy legal workflows into structured product requirements, demos, and playbooks.
• ▸You are curious about AI, legal technology, and how legal work will change over the next decade.
• ▸You bring credibility, judgment, and calmness when working with customers on complex or ambiguous problems.
• ▸You are organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple customer conversations, use cases, and follow-ups without dropping balls.
